Mijia Projector 2 Pro is the new Xiaomi projector announced a few hours ago for the Asian market. Aesthetically, the product broadly follows the design and finishes used on the Mi Smart Compact Projector available in Italy since the end of March, even if in the most recent case the appliance has a more elongated shape horizontally.
Hardware-wise, the Mijia Projector 2 Pro offers brightness up to 1300 ANSI Lumens and supports the HDR10 + standard. The lens has a shooting ratio of 1.1: 1 and allows you to obtain images up to 120 "with FHD 1080p resolution.
The beating heart of the projector is the Amlogic T972 with a 12nm production process: according to what has been stated, it offers an improvement in performance of up to 63% and a reduction in energy consumption of over 55% compared to the predecessor T962.
The remaining specifications also include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage space, 4 and 8K decoding and 10W HiFi speakers with XiaoAI support. Finally, there is support for the various projection methods including Miracast, DLNA, Airplay for photos, videos and games and support for the PatchWall user interface.
The product is already available for purchase in China at a price of 4,599 Yuan, around 574 euros at the current exchange rate. It is not yet clear if Xiaomi will decide to expand its marketing also outside the local market as already happened with the Compact Projector.
The best quality / price ratio of 2020? Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, on offer today from Mobzilla for 268 euros or from Amazon for 328 euros.
