Master Chief was supposed to escort the launch of the Xbox Series X and Series S, which Microsoft has made official for November 10, with Halo Infinite. But then, after the infamous trailer released in July, the reaction from fans was so negative that 343 Industries had to revise their plans, postponing the release.
But, at least on Series S (and we bet on Series X too), the good Master Chief found a way to be close to the console right from launch. On the power supply, in fact, by sharpening the gaze it is possible to distinctly grasp the silhouette of a Spartan's helmet.
They always do this. Xbox One S / X had these Master Chief Easter eggs as well. pic.twitter.com/hVgdSaxEgE

As you can see from the images above, this easter egg is not an absolute novelty, but rather continues a sort of dynasty: in fact, both Xbox One and Xbox One X hid a version chibi by Master Chief. Specifically, on Xbox One it was again on the power supply, while on Xbox One X it was hidden inside and, moreover, astride a scorpion: as many will remember, the code name of One X was precisely Scorpio.
Leaving the Master Chief aside, if you are curious to know what differences there are between the Xbox Series X and the younger sister Series S, beyond the price (499 euros against 299), do not worry: we have just published a dedicated in-depth study that is right for you.
