Yesterday was the day of Patch Tuesday and the Beta channel, and today it's up to the Insider Dev Channel, the one generally juicier and full of news: the 20190 build of Windows 10 does not disappoint expectations, and actually brings with it several changes to the post-update first boot experience and in the graphics section of the Settings.
Microsoft wants the news introduced with a feature update of the system; it is important that the user is aware of them first of all so that at least he exploits them, and then so that he does not feel as if the update was just a waste of time in which nothing has changed. Thus, if the appropriate check in the settings is selected, after an update (we repeat: only after one of the six-monthly feature updates, thus excluding cumulative updates where there are only bug fixes), the Suggestions app is launched showing all the main news . Not all Insiders will see it: for now, buy only for those who have the English language active.
In the Graphics section of the Settings, however, it will be possible to manually specify the default high-performance GPU, and assign the desired GPU to each individual application. This can be very useful for those with very particular configurations with more than one high-powered GPU (example: a Quadro for 3DS and a GeForce for DOOM).
Then, as usual, there are several bug fixes and some known problems, which we suggest you check before proceeding with the installation. The link for the full changelog is below the SOURCE item.
