Vodafone and Disney will present a smartwatch dedicated to children in time for Christmas: the device is the result of a strategic collaboration between the two companies, aimed at integrating their respective hardware and software skills into a single product to meet the needs of children. The development of the hardware part was entrusted to the Vodafone Smart Tech team, while the aesthetic aspects were handled by the designer Yves Behar and his team from the fuseproject studio in San Francisco.
The smartwatch thus confirms the telephone operator's intention to offer smart wearable devices on the market for different types of users, even for the youngest, who in this way will be able to stay in touch with their family at any time. A smartwatch capable of combining fun, Disney content, connection and technology, which will become part of the product line Vodafone Designed and Connected which also includes the recent Vodafone Curve GPS smart tracker, presented by the operator during the summer.
The product launch is expected in major European markets before Christmas, both online and through physical stores.
