Spotify would be working on a new functional change that we will find in mobile applications, which is an additional control between the streaming quality options. The novelty has not yet been introduced, but developer Jane Manchun Wong has carried out the analysis of the code of the latest version, discovering a section in the settings that is still not active.
Contrary to the options available to us, in this new version emerges the possibility of distinguishing between the quality of the streaming music played when connected to a WiFi line, from that with mobile data.

There is currently only one option (with a range of 5 possibilities) for streaming quality, which works regardless of the type of connection used. Therefore, the 5 quality levels that can be selected to date can be differentiated, a minor but useful feature for all users with limited data plans.
Spotify continues to work constantly on new features, for example we know that virtual events are coming and also the possibility of offline listening for users who do not have a paid subscription.
