Everyone has at least one favorite song that maybe takes him back in time to a special moment in his life. Spotify, the main music streaming platform, also knows this, which a few hours ago announced a new feature with the main goal of encouraging its users to share the 5 songs or podcasts they love most.
The new feature, already available in Italy for both Spotify Free and Premium users, is called "My favorites of all time". Through the app, listeners can create a playlist containing their five favorite songs and / or podcast episodes: once this is done, it will then be possible to quickly publish it on the main social platforms – Instagram Stories in the first place – or share it with friends and family via a appropriate link.
Creating your "My All-Time Favorites" playlist is pretty simple and takes just a few steps:
- go to this address (in the next few hours a section will be inserted in the app home screen);
- select five songs and / or podcasts from your library;
- share the playlist on social networks or with friends and family.
The function, as mentioned, is already available in Italy, but it may not be the only one coming. In recent days the developer Jane Manchun Wong analyzed the app code by finding two new options: the first will allow you to distinguish between the quality of the music played over a Wi-Fi network or via a data connection, while the second will offer the possibility to listen to music offline (with a limit of 30 days ) even free users.
