Splinter Cell will become a new animated series for Netflix. The streaming giant shows that he wants to further invest in content from the world of video games: he did it with The Witcher and Castelvania (now in its third season) and is preparing to re-propose this approach also with the series taken from the platform / shoot ' em up, Cuphead.
As reported Variety, Derek Kolstad, known for the John Wick franchise, will be the writer and executive producer. The series would consist of a total of 16 episodes, divided into 2 seasons.
Although there are few details at the moment, and Ubisoft is completely silent, fans of the game will probably be happy to know that they will be able to relive the adventures of secret agent Sam Fisher on the screen in an animated version – if the results are worthy of expectations , of course.
However, the film planned for the cinema, which has been talked about for years, remains a mystery. If the adaptation with actors in flesh and blood has therefore not had much luck, we hope to be able to say the opposite with the animated series.
