Lenovo chooses Milan, and precisely Corso Matteotti 8/10, for its first concept store in Europe. Is called Lenovo space, opens today, and it is not the usual branded shop, where the only meeting opportunity is that between the customer and the products.
No: Lenovo has conceived a "space", in fact, that connects people with their passion for technology and with other people (with all the precautions imposed by difficult times) through a series of events and initiatives capable of making live the unprecedented experience of a cultural ecosystem – centered on digital innovation – alive and reactive. In short, an all-round meeting and exchange place dedicated to fans of the tech world.
In practice, this means, for example, that SmartTalks will start from 1 October (two Thursdays a month, from 19:00), meetings in which guests and participants will discuss each time on a different topic related to technology. The first three appointments are already fixed and will concern the educational and didactic sphere (1/10), artificial intelligence (15/10) and gaming (5/11). The calendar, however, will be constantly updated on the website of Lenovo space which you can reach via the link in SOURCE
Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16, Spazio Lenovo will be open to the public every day from 10am to 8pm.
The first event of a long series can only be, of course, the inauguration ceremony, which is held today, September 15th. And which ends with a slightly more mundane show on Lenovo's YouTube channel (which you can watch by subscribing to the link in SOURCE), hosted by Alessandro Cattelan (guests: Mara Maionchi, Francesco Mandelli, Andrea Dovizioso, Julio Cesar, Samir Handanovič and Hell Raton, aka Manuel Zappadu).
Okay, but the products? There is no need to worry: in the modern, composite and surprising spaces of the Lenovo store there will be workstations dedicated to PCs (ThinkPad, Yoga, Lenovo Legion), tablets, Motorola smartphones, workstations, augmented and virtual reality viewers (Mirage, Think Reality), an entire experiential area dedicated to the data center world, as well as accessories and smart home / office solutions. And there is no shortage of areas for events and workshops, briefings and business meetings, spaces dedicated to Lenovo partners, lounges and cafes, an area dedicated to coworking and an auditorium with stalls.
Luca Rossi, Senior Vice President of Lenovo, President EMEA and LATAM, commented on the opening of Spazio Lenovo and the idea that drives it:
We are happy to open the first Lenovo Space in Europe and to do so in Milan, one of the most important European and international capitals. Digital and diversity are at the heart of Milan's social and economic development and its creative and cultural sectors, including design for which it is internationally renowned, are at the forefront. Spazio Lenovo will offer our customers and partners around the world the unique opportunity to share their ideas and expertise, as well as foster discussions and exchanges of ideas on the role of technology as an enabler of a more inclusive, reliable and sustainable digital society.
The experience of the physical concept store is also completed and integrated by the online platform Spaziolenovo.com (that's right, always you, the link in the SOURCE): here users can create their own personal profile to then register for events and workshops. Obviously, by connecting to the site it will also be possible to make an appointment to receive assistance relating to a Lenovo product, as well as consult the bistro menu and book a table, or even take a virtual tour for those who cannot reach Milan but still want to have a ' idea of this innovative space.
