The growth of Realme, the Chinese company now widely established in the smartphone sector (and beyond) that had already celebrated the milestone of over 35 million users worldwide, continues unabated.
The numbers recently announced by the company and analyzed by are decidedly "record" Counterpoint Research, which defines it in turn the fastest growing smartphone brand globally. In the first 6 months of the year, Realme recorded a growth of + 11%, thus gaining an additional 15 million users. The year-on-year trend is even more interesting, with a + 157% growth in the first quarter of 2020.
According to IDC, Realme is now among the top 4 smartphone brands in Thailand, India, Cambodia and Egypt, and has reached the top 5 in Myanmar, the Philippines, Ukraine, Indonesia and Vietnam. The company is also now present in 59 countries across 5 continents.
After performing well in the first half of 2020, Realme is now aiming even higher and plans to continue expanding internationally and further expanding its sales numbers.

- annually sell 100 million smartphones in 2 or 3 years;
- sell 50 million smartphones in 2020;
- open 280 million physical stores globally in 2020;
- launch more than 50 AIoT products in 2020 and more 100 in 2021.
