PUBG Mobile is preparing to receive one of the most important updates since the launch (which took place in March 2018 in the West): finally comes the long-awaited version 1.0, thanks to which many improvements will be introduced from the graphical and interface point of view.
PUBG Corporation explained what the main new features of this update will be – described as one new era for the game – which will be made available to all users starting September 8. The pillars on which the new version of the customer rests are 3: new graphics sector, new interface and one mysterious surprise which has not yet been revealed, but which we will probably find out in the coming days.
As for the graphics sector, the company has revamped the game engine and introduced several improvements to the ambient lighting system and physically based rendering. These will be evident in every aspect of the game starting with the lobby – where the character model will be more detailed and made more believable by better effects -, during matches and even when landing with the parachute, as it has been recreated from scratch. animation.
The textures of environments and characters have also been completely updated, as well as the particle effects, those relating to smoke, air movements and the zoom effect of the sniper rifles' sights has been significantly improved. In short, the game has received a graphic update that now brings it on a par with the main mobile productions.
As for the interface, PUBG Corporation has divided the main screen into 3 macro categories (Social, Game Store) in order to have as many scrolling screens. This means that each page has fewer elements but is clearer and easier to consult. The other novelties concern the possibility to customize the interface, the interactive lobby and the new system animations.
Together with the news of version 1.0, the new eSport Global Championship competition was announced, born from the union of the two World League and Pro League cups. The first season of the Global Championship 2020 will see the main teams of professional players compete for a prize pool of 2 million dollars and will allow all the teams in the world (therefore the Chinese ones will compete together with the others) to compete in the largest PUBG Mobile tournament. never organized.
