Philips announces the debut on the Italian market of the 498P9 monitor, a solution that, unlike the recent Momentum 558M1RY, is designed for professionals and more generally to meet the needs of those users who look to optimize productivity.
Philips 498P9 is an LCD monitor with a 49-inch curved panel (48.8 "to be precise), a superwide display with a 32: 9 format which among other things represents a valid option for dual-monitor setups as it replaces two QHD panels 16: 9 side by side.
Going into detail, Philips uses a VA panel with 1800R curvature of 5120×1440 pixels which, together with Multiview technology, allows you to better improve and optimize the productivity and versatility of the setup, a feature of fundamental importance when it comes to professional workstations.
Other important specifications include a refresh rate of 70Hz, a response time of 5ms (GtG) and a peak brightness of 450 cd / m2 (the typical contrast is 3000: 1).
The I / O department which provides DisplayPort, HDMI and USB 3.2 as well as the integrated MultiClient KVM switch which, always paired with the MultiView function, allows users to manage two separate devices simultaneously with a single monitor-keyboard-mouse configuration.
Philips 498P9 will be available from August at a price of 899 euros.
