The market for true wireless headphones is in turmoil and it is no wonder that brands like Nokia (HMD) are also deciding to renew their offer. Details about this are contained in the recently assigned Bluetooth certification (dated August 28) to the Power Earbuds Lite. As the name suggests, it should be a variant of the earphones presented at the 2019 edition of IFA (opening image).
It is not exactly clear which technical characteristics they will have to give up compared to the variant already on the market: the term Lite suggests this possibility, but the certification does not yet provide confirmation in this regard. However, it is known that the Bluetooth interface has received an update compared to the previous model, passing from version 5.0 of the previous model to 5.1.
The documentation anticipates that the debut is imminent. The announcement could take place this week, concurrently with IFA. The previous Power Earbuds have aimed at autonomy to try to differentiate themselves in a market that is decidedly rich in proposals and have been marketed for 79 euros. Autonomy and price could be the elements on which the new Power Earbuds Lite will also focus.
