Both Microsoft and Sony still have some surprises to announce regarding the games of their next generation consoles, the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. respectively. During an episode of the podcast Kinda Funny, a former Game Informer editor says, citing its own internal sources in both companies, that neither of them has completely emptied the sack on incoming third-level qualifications.
Sony, in particular, is said to be maintaining secrecy about some "bomb" ads. The interesting side would be that Microsoft would also know what cards Sony has in hand, and would be studying the best counter-offensive strategy. Among the "bombs" from Sony there may be a new project related to the Silent Hill franchise, but for the moment they are speculations that are based on a limited number of solid information.
However, it remains to be seen when exactly the new announcements could be held. Phil Spencer of Microsoft has already said that the company will share new information on the next-gen already in the course of August – let's say that from tomorrow onwards every date is good; as for Sony, however, there are still no official advances, although it is rumored that a new State of Play could be held already within the first two weeks of the month.
