The Logitech G Challenge is back, a fixture on the world eSport racing scene created in collaboration with McLaren and Project Cars 2, the Bandai Namco title that has long dominated the simulation scene.
Season 1 of qualifying is now behind us and three Italians have classified in the top 10 positions, but unfortunately they have not managed to conquer the Regional Quarterfinals, which can only be accessed by the top 3 of the season. However, if you think you are able to have the right material, we would like to point out that it is already possible to access the next qualifying stages for Season 2, which started a few days ago and will end on August 30th.
To register for the Logitech McLaren G Challenge 2020, just visit the official website of the event and follow the instructions. Remember that drivers must be at least 16 years of age at the time of registration and have reached at least the minimum age required to be a full Project CARS 2 account, whether on PS4, Xbox One or PC. For pilots considered minors it is necessary to have the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
In addition to the two different Seasons, however, there are other ways to qualify, namely Wildcard events, but for these more details will arrive later, on the official social channels of the competition.
The 2020 Grand Final winner will win a four-day all-inclusive trip to London (for 2 people), to experience McLaren's behind-the-scenes experience, including a McLaren Technology Center tour, driving lessons with F1 driver Lando Norris, a lap on a McLaren supercar and finally a VIP entry to the 2021 F1 British Grand Prix, as well as being able to embark on the path to the world championship.
