Logitech recently presented the new Folio Touch keyboard, specific for the 11 "iPad Pro, which in fact represents a valid alternative to the much more expensive Magic Keyboard – which we reviewed in May – without sacrificing the versatility of a keyboard with trackpad and housing for Apple Pencil.
Compatible with first or second generation iPad Pro 11, Logitech Folio Touch is first and foremost a case, capable of protecting the tablet through a bumper that covers it almost entirely on three sides. The connection is made through the Smart Connector support.
On the back there is a kickstand that allows you to keep iPad Pro in a vertical position (with an inclination of up to 40 °) to use it with the keyboard, or close it completely while reading, taking notes and working also using the Apple Pencil or the Logitech Crayon.
The trackpad of Folio Touch supports all the gestural controls of iPadOS, the keys are backlit and automatically adjust according to the external light, finally there is a complete row of shortcut buttons compatible with the operating system, so as to have an easy access to the main screen, screen brightness, volume controls and much more.
Logitech Folio Touch does not require external power, the energy is in fact absorbed directly by iPad Pro, therefore you will not need to recharge the case, also, thanks to a magnetic catch integrated in the inside, the tablet will remain firmly inside the case even in case of sudden movements.
The availability of the accessory is scheduled for this month in the US market, at a price of $ 159.99. We are waiting to understand when it will also be available in Europe. More information is available on the official website (link in SOURCE).
