Logitech G and Herman Miller have joined forces to reinvent the gaming chair: Embody Gaming Chair is born, a new ergonomic gaming chair based on the Herman Miller Embody Chair icon, suitably modified to meet the needs of professional players and streamers.
Together with Logitech G, we studied both the Pro Players and the Gamers, hardcore and casual, to see how we can improve their performance and help them take care of their body while they play. We have found that players take on a variety of chair postures that negatively impact their performance and that could potentially harm their health over time. We needed a solution that would help players maintain their ideal posture for long periods of time, keeping them comfortable and focused in key moments. This line of gaming products does this and more.
Among the various improvements made, the Embody Gaming Chair now includes:
- cooling foam with copper particles that support the ideal playing posture and reduce the accumulation of heat caused by sitting on thick cushions for an extended period of time;
- "pixellated" support that distributes weight evenly, reduces pressure and encourages movement
Among the new products announced there is not only the Embody Gaming Chair: the two companies have introduced the Herman Miller Gaming Desk Motia, Ratio and Nevi, new gaming desks that encourage smooth movement and allow users to switch from one posture to another. other to adapt to the playing styles of the players, increasing energy and efficiency.
These new desks are characterized by an anti-stain and anti-glare matte black finish, exclusively designed for the gaming world. Both products can then be combined with the corresponding Ollin Gaming Monitor Arm, an arm that supports a range of monitors and laptops of various weight and different sizes.
All products are already available for purchase on the official Herman Miller website at the following sales prices:
- Embody Gaming Chair: € 1,342
- Nevi gaming desk: 1,154 euros
- Ollin Monitor Arm: 199 euros
In short, with almost 2700 euros you can bring home a rather complete gaming station. In case you were decidedly more demanding (and above all the money were the least of the problems), you can refer to the Acer Predator Thronos that we tried in December 2018 and from the cost of 9,999 euros.
