Loewe has announced the first completely unreleased TV series after the restart of activities following a very difficult period. The new models come after the renewal of the OLED bild 3 and bild 5, already present in the previous range and simply updated with the latest generation panels and other changes. The televisions presented this week are called bild s.77 (77 "), bild v.65 (65") and bild v.55 (55 ").
All products share the same operating system: we speak specifically of Loewe os6.4 managed by quad-core SX8 processors. The construction also exploits the same basis: the new series are in fact built starting from the SL5 chassis. The equipment includes Loewe dr + streaming and Loewe dr + hard disk. These two terms translate into the ability to record up to two television programs on the integrated hard disk and to use televisions as servers and clients for sending and receiving the recordings made. On picture s.77 we also talk about shortened times when changing channels thanks to the Instant Channel Zapping function.
The panels used are all Ultra HD OLEDs produced by LG Display in versions updated to 2020. HDR videos in HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision formats are supported. As for picture 5, we talk about measurements made in the factory to optimize the quality of vision. Loewe did not provide many other indications on the specifications, limiting itself to listing some improvements related to video processors in terms of upscaling, motion management and processing of colors and shades.
On the audio section, however, numerous details have been provided and it is easy to understand why. Integrated systems seem well above average. Bild s.77 houses ten transducers inside, all positioned frontally and capable of guaranteeing a total power of 120 W. Mimi Defined technology analyzes the audio in real time to adapt it to the hearing profile chosen by the user (through a guided path which completes quickly on the TV). The bild v.55 and bild v.65 models have six transducers and a total power of 80 W.
Obviously the design is carefully taken care of, as per tradition for the Loewe brand. The user can customize some finishes and choose various options for installation in the environment (floor stands that can also accommodate sound bars, optical players or consoles). The new OLEDs will hit the market in the fourth quarter of the year at the following prices:
- bild s.77: 14,999 euros
- bild v.65: 5,999 euros
- bild v.55: 3,999 euros
