LG has announced a new smartphone, whose second screen can be rotated 90 degrees. The second screen of the LG Wing can be used, among other things, for a second app or as a control element for the camera app, for example.
The LG Wing's primary display is a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2460 pixels 1080 pixels. The second screen is a 3.9-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1240 by 1080 pixels.
Apps can be opened on both screens. For example, you can use the tilted screen to watch a video, while you are texting on the bottom screen.
Under the hood, the LG Wing has a Snapdragon 765G with a built-in X52 modem with 5G, 8GB of RAM and 4000 mAh battery. The device appears in a variant with 128GB and a variant with 256GB storage space.
Three cameras are placed on the back of the phone. The device will be released in the Netherlands before the end of the year. LG has not made any statements about the prices of the device.
