Konami Amusement, a subsidiary of Konami Holding Corporation, enters the desktop gaming PC market and announces that it has started to accept orders for the new products of the Arespear line. There are three models, at least at the moment: starting from the entry-level Arespear C300 model to switch to the more powerful Arespear C700 and C700 +, very similar to each other and diversified only in terms of aesthetics.
Common features of Konami desktop PCs are the mid-tower case (75.3 × 501.5x 230 mm) with honeycomb design, the ASUS Xonar AE sound card, SSD NVMe and hardware platform based on Intel Core processors of 9a. Jan announced in 2018.
We start from the base model, Arespear C300, based on Intel Core i5-9400F processor, flanked by 8 GB DDR4 2666, GeForce GTX 1650 GPU and 512 GB SSSD. For those looking for something more powerful, Arespear C700 and C700 + will be available, both with Intel Core i7-9700 CPU and liquid cooling, 16GB of DDR4 2666 RAM, GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and 512GB SSD with 1TB HDD to further expand the storage capacity.
As anticipated above, the substantial difference between the two models (C700 and C700 +) lies in the aesthetics, as the C700 + is equipped with RGB LED lighting with a windowed side panel. All Konami Arespear models also offer USB 3.1 Type-A and Type-C connectivity, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and Gigabit LAN port.
Prices – currently unofficial – apparently will not be low at all and could start at around $ 1700 for the cheaper Arespear C300 variant.
