Next week Apple will hold its usual September event but it would seem that there will still be no room for the new and expected iPhone 12. The rumors, in fact, would only point to the new Series 6 of Apple Watch and a renewed iPad Air. A delay announced by the same Cupertino company which confirmed "a few weeks later" than usual and also the title of the keynote "Time flies" it could indicate that there will be a while to wait.
In the meantime, however, rumors intensify, probably also thanks to the start of mass production of devices in China, which could make "leaks" easier, the leaks of secret information. And it is precisely from a production plant that a video could arrive showing what could be the body of the new iPhone 12 Pro.
Here it is! Official iPhone 12 Pro chassis leak. Confirms mostly same camera with new LiDAR placement, flat sides, magnet cutouts & smart connector-like 5G antenna? This seems to confirm the 6.1 Pro model will get LiDAR too. October can't come soon enough. pic.twitter.com/YifSX7SWxh

The images don't reveal much more than we know but they allow us to get a clearer idea of what the final design might look like starting with the flat steel edges (aluminum on non-Pro versions) and the camera setup that should be flanked by a LiDAR sensor similar to that seen on the new iPad Pro. On the inside you can also see the large circular space for the wireless charging coil while the SIM drawer is now on the right side of the iPhone, below the volume keys .
But it is on the left side that there is something unusual. In fact, exactly where the SIM was usually present, there is a space that, according to the source, could serve the 5G antenna even if the position, in our opinion, would not be the best. On closer inspection it may recall the magnetic connector used on the iPad Pro for charging the Apple Pencil. In recent months, rumors have also circulated about the possible integration of a sensor for fingerprint recognition. We'll see.
For now there is nothing else to add but a further indiscretion, to be taken absolutely with a grain of salt, namely the final decision by Apple not to use displays with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Again, we'll see.
Apple's smallest TOP of the range? Apple iPhone SE is on offer today on for 369 euros or from Media World for 469 euros.
