Some time ago a version of Monopoly that was controllable with voice commands and therefore inspired by the present and interactions with technological devices came out: this time instead it's the turn of a retro version, inspired by the past. And precisely to a video game icon, which turns 40 in 2020: we are talking about Pac-Man.
The interesting thing is that it will not be just a facade customization, on the contrary. Instead of money, in fact, in this special edition there are points. In reality the coins will be there, but only to recreate a dynamic coin-op: every time a player passes by, thanks to a coin he will be able to play a game of a miniature cabinet included in the package, and will earn points according to the result obtained. The goal of the game will be to go around the board by increasing your score, leveling up and being careful to avoid the ghost. In short, a game revisited at the root to adapt to the theme, and not a simple aesthetic content.
Monopoly Arcade Pac-Man will be released on August 1 in the USA, and according to Amazon, where it is already possible to pre-order it, starting August 7 it will also be available in Italy.
