Huawei has been on a black trade list for a while now, so that American companies can not just do business with the manufacturer. Despite the ban, the Chinese tech giant has achieved revenue growth.
The Chinese company recently shared its fiscal figures for the first half of 2020. In the first half year, Huawei managed to generate a turnover of no less than 57 billion euros. Sales growth of 13.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
The company has three distinct divisions: mobile networks, enterprises and consumers. The half-year figures are distributed as follows; mobile networks 20 billion euros (35 percent), enterprises 4.57 billion euros (8 percent) and consumers 32.17 billion euros (56 percent).
It is striking that Huawei is doing so well despite the ban and the corona virus. The Chinese company does not further specify sales by category or region.
