Honor, subsidiary of Huawei, has introduced three new MagicBook laptops; the MagicBook Pro, the MagicBook 14 and finally the MagicBook 15. All three laptops are equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 CPU from the 4000 series.
The Honor MagicBook Pro is the highest ranked model. The laptop has a 16.1-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the MagicBook Pro features an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H CPU and uses the Ryzen 5's integrated Vega 6 GPU.
Furthermore, the laptop is equipped with three USB 3.2 connections of type-a. There is a fingerprint scanner in the on / off button and a pop-up webcam in the keyboard.
The MagicBook Pro is now available in several European countries. A variant with 16GB DDR4 memory and 512GB SSD storage costs 900 euros.
The new MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15 are comparable to their predecessors. The laptops are only equipped with new and more powerful hardware. The new models are equipped with a Ryzen 5 4500 CPU with six cores and six threads.
Furthermore, the laptops are equipped with a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.2 type-a connections. There is a fingerprint scanner in the on / off button and a pop-up webcam in the keyboard.
The Honor MagicBook 14 will be available from September 21 and will get a starting price of 750 euros for a variant with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD. In October, the Honor MagicBook 15 will follow with a suggested retail price of 700 euros for a model with 8GB of memory and 512GB of storage.
