Fastweb Mobile users can now surf 4G at higher speeds, thanks to the new limit reported on the official website of the virtual operator. To give us this indication is the page dedicated to tariff transparency – which you can find in source -, where it is possible to read that the maximum speed that can be reached in 4G is now equal to 1 Gbps, obviously provided you have a smartphone equipped with an adequate modem.
This is an important leap forward that makes the virtual operator's proposal much more attractive, since the previous limit was just 150 Mbps. The upload limit also rises slightly, which goes from 50 to 75 Mbps. that Fastweb Mobile now operates under the WindTre network, so this change – which took place in the last few hours – could indicate the completion of the transition from the old TIM network.
While waiting to know what Fastweb offers and plans will be regarding support for the 5G network, this change lays the foundations for a higher quality service. Are you a Fastweb Mobile customer? Have you noticed the improvement? Let us know your experience in the comments.
