F1 2020, awarded with an 8.5 in our review, ousted The Last of Us Part II from the top step of the podium in the weekly ranking of the best-selling games in Italy. The Naughty Dog masterpiece, released exclusively on PlayStation 4 (here the review), after three weeks at the top of the ranking, must therefore be satisfied with the third position, preceded by the classic edition of Far Cry 3.
Once again, the dominance of the PlayStation 4 games is clear with 7 out of 10 titles in the top ten of the aggregate ranked. The only exceptions concern the titles for Switch with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Minecraft and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which are positioned respectively in fourth, seventh and tenth position.
On PC, the best-selling title remains the evergreen Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, followed by NBA 2K20 and Sonic Generations Collection.
The analysis is provided by the GSD (Game Sales Data) project promoted by the European federation ISFE, which carries out periodic surveys on the video game market in Italy regarding the best-selling titles on consoles and PCs.
