Cyberpunk 2077 will have free DLCs, as confirmed on Twitter by CD Projekt RED with an unequivocal animated gif. The Polish software house will therefore follow the path taken with The Witcher III, guaranteeing post-launch content that will not require an extra expense.
At the moment no further details have been revealed, but presumably the free DLCs will also be accompanied by paid expansions as happened for the third episode of The Witcher. The acclaimed title starring Geralt of Rivia had been embellished with two major paid expansions (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine) enriched with completely free content and updates that included cosmetic items and some extra missions.
While waiting to find out more details on post launch support for Cyberpunk 2077, please note that the game has been postponed to November 19, the day it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Cyberpunk 2077 will also be a launch title for Xbox Series X and Playstation 5.
