Corsair is preparing to make its debut on the stock market, and in the meantime it presents three new cases of the 4000 series in addition to the renewed AiO CPU coolers iCUE ELITE CAPELLIX, all products that look a lot to aesthetics but which are basically designed to optimize dissipation. of components, allowing at the same time a good customization.
Let's start with the new 4000 series cases, Corsair 4000D, 4000D AirFlow and 4000X RGB respectively. We are dealing with houses that share the same Mid-Tower form-factor and substantially identical in terms of basic structure and design; the measures, common to all models, are equal to 453x230x466mm, built in steel and plastic with tempered glass side panel and good expansion capacity.
The main difference between the three Corsair models lies in the front panel: the 4000D offers a minimalist steel front panel with ventilation channels on the sides, the 4000D AIRFLOW features triangular vents to better channel the airflow, while the 4000X RGB looks a lot also to the design by offering a tempered glass front panel with dedicated ventilation channels to show the lighting of the three SP RGB ELITE fans.
With the new Corsair 4000 series, the company also introduces two new technologies aimed at optimizing efficiency in the management of air flows and cabling, respectively AirGuide and RapidRoute.
AirGuide is a technology implemented on the fans of these cases, which feature anti-vortex fins that concentrate the airflow into a conical shape, targeting the areas in the case where the hottest components are located. Corsair 4000D and 4000D AirFlow are equipped with two 120mm AirGuide fans while the 4000X RGB model is equipped with three SP RGB ELITE AirGuide fans and iCUE Lighting Node Core controller.
RapidRoute is a new design that allows main cables to pass through a large hidden opening to connect them to the motherboard in comfort. We also report that the three cases provide additional space behind the motherboard (25mm) to hide the cables as well as a complete cover for the power supply and a channel to arrange the cables from the top to the bottom.
The line of AiO iCUE ELITE Capellix heatsinks also includes three models, H100i ELITE CAPELLIX, H115i ELITE CAPELLIX and H150i ELITE CAPELLIX, all characterized by an RGB lighting system equipped with the new and efficient Capellix LEDs. Corsair AiO coolers have been a guarantee in this market segment for years and the new series continues on this path by offering: a high-performance pump, split-flow copper base and Corsair ML RGB high-performance fans with support for Zero mode RPM Mode.
Corsair iCUE ELITE Capellix integrate an iCUE Commander CORE Smart RGB Lighting controller as well as a fan controller; models available respectively in 240, 280 and 360mm cut sizes and offer compatibility for the latest AMD (including sTRX4) and Intel (up to LGA 2066) processors.
Performance is guaranteed by a pump capable of a flow of 0.82 liters per minute and at the same time with a noise level of only 20 dBA. As for the fans, however, we will find 120 or 140mm ML RGB models (280mm variant) with a 2000/2400 RPM rotation speed and a peak noise level of 37 dBA.
