The rumors about the next generation of Apple Watch for some time had subsided: but today the ticking of the rumors returns to be heard. The latest report from Digitimes, which as always is based on sources within the production chain, speaks of a collaboration between Apple and ASE Technology, or a sensor supplier based in Taiwan. The aim, apparently, would be to integrate the ability to measure blood oxygen level on the Apple Watch 6.
A function that would round off an endowment dedicated to health and well-being already complete with detection of the heartbeat, atrial fibrillation and the electrocardiogram. The introduction of an oxygen level sensor has been talked about since March, and the first traces of which have been found in a preliminary build of iOS 14.
Since it is not among those news that Apple recently announced for watchOS7, it can be assumed that it is linked to the introduction of a new product, with dedicated hardware. Other new features are the ability to detect panic attacks early and monitor sleep quality.
