Apple has announced the release of a new update to Final Cut Pro X, video editing software, with new features designed to speed up editing and improve remote workflows.
With this update to Final Cut Pro it will be easier to create content for social media. Transcoding 8K RED RAW video to ProRes 422 format is up to two times faster on Mac Pro, and up to three times faster on MacBook Pro.1 And for the first time, Final Cut Pro users can play and edit in Canon Cinema RAW Light 8K format. 2
Finally, those who work with 360 ° movies can quickly stabilize stereoscopic videos and view the footage in the 360 ° Viewer with separate streams for each eye. Additionally, you can apply crossfades to adjacent clips in a single step.
New also for Motion that offers a whole series of new possibilities for creating effects and graphics. You can import third-party 3D models or choose the ones in USDZ format from the built-in library and use them for titles, generators, effects and transitions. You can also use behaviors or keyframes to adjust the position, rotation and scale of a model, and take advantage of replicators, emitters, lights and cameras to unleash your creativity.
