While everyone is talking about GeForce RTX 30 and the first pre-order specimens on Amazon are sold out in 30 minutes, AMD could respond shortly with the launch of Radeon graphics cards based on the renewed RDNA 2 architecture. We have known for some time that AMD should have the first ones ready. cards based on Navi 21 GPUs (RDNA 2 in fact), but in recent days the rumors and leaked clues suggest that the company is now close to launch.
It all started from the Easter Egg discovered on Fortnite by streamer GinaDarling. After hiding in the AMD Battle Arena, she found a secret room with a console that she managed to unlock with code 6000. She subsequently received the following message:
Something big is coming to the AMD battle arena
Added to this is the mysterious tweet this morning by Frank Azor, Chief Architect of Gaming Solutions & Marketing at AMD, which takes up the words of Tomorrow from the musical Annie; the post was later revived by Sasa Marinkovic, AMD's director of marketing.
"The sun'll come out
I know ya gotta hang on
Come what may
I love ya tomorrow!

Everything suggests that tomorrow we could have some important news on the new generation Radeons, we do not know if there will be an announcement but something for sure is brewing. Recall that the RDNA2 architecture is highly anticipated; the first generation (see Radeon RX 5700) failed to worry NVIDIA, while the new GPUs could offer a clear performance leap, bringing among other things a performance / watt improvement of 50%.
No one among the insiders expects a GeForce RTX 3080 antagonist, but a solution capable of at least battling GeForce RTX 3070 – at a reasonable price – would certainly be well received by users.
The 5G that does not give up anything? Motorola Edge, on offer today by Dimstore at 478 euros or by Amazon at 548 euros.
