Specifically, it seems that Cupertino will still rely on Inventec for the assembly of the next AirPods, and that these are planned for the first half of next year (we do not know, however, if it will be only the economic model or even the Pro): at the same time, however, the orders aimed at Inventec this time they could amount to 20% of the total, or even less.
If for the AirPods 3 – the heirs of the "original" model, with the characteristic temple well in sight – we are talking about a design instead closer to that of the current AirPods Pro both inside and out (with the adoption of a chip system- in-package to optimize space), there is great curiosity towards the new AirPods Pro, which will have to mount a new technology capable of differentiating them not only from the previous generation, but also from the AirPods 3.
