Acer unveils, currently only on the Asian market, the new XV282K KV gaming monitor, a product that is part of the NITRO XV2 line, intended for the most demanding gamers in terms of performance. Acer XV282K KV has some very interesting technical features for gamers, among these stands out the support for the HDMI 2.1 standard introduced by NVIDIA on the recent GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards and which we will most likely find on the next Radeon RX 6000 RDNA2.
Recall that the HDMI 2.1 interface guarantees a maximum bandwidth of 48 Gbps, supporting resolutions up to 10K @ 120Hz and several new features that significantly improve performance and consequently the gaming experience. Returning to the new Acer monitor instead, we are talking about a display with a 28 "4K IPS panel produced by Innolux and capable, among other things, of a refresh rate that reaches 144Hz with Adatptive Sync and AMD Freesync support.
Acer XV282K KV has a very nice frameless design and is also optimized to offer good ergonomics, with different adjustment and customization options. The rest of the features include 1ms response time, 550 nit brightness, 90% DCI-P3 color space coverage and two 2W stereo speakers; as for connectivity, in addition to HDMI 2.1 we find Display Port 1.4 (with DSC), 4 USB 3.0 and 3.5mm audio jack.
The price for the Chinese market is currently 8499 yuan, around 1050 euros at the exchange rate, but availability is not expected before January.
